This safari will take you to the best-loved national park in Kenya to witness the great wildebeest migration, spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebra, giraffe, kudu, crocodiles among other numerous animal and bird species on a Masai Mara Safari.
Itinerary
Pick up at your hotel or the airport at 7:00 AM and drive via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you have a stop over to view the sheer drop of the escarpment and the Rift Valley mountains including Mount Longonot and the Suswa Ranges. Drive down into the Rift Valley and on to Narok town where you have a bathroom stop over. This is the last major stop so you can stock up on snacks and any beverages you may want. Drive on to Masai Mara arriving for lunch. In the afternoon as the sun begins to cool head out for an afternoon game drive till 6:30 PM. Return to the lodge to freshen up. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.
Have breakfast, you will pick packed lunch and head out in search of the location of the great wildebeest migration. The herds will be moving towards the Masai Mara – Serengeti border near the Serena plains. Head out to the Mara River to see if there is a river crossing that is the highlight of the migration as the wildebeest must dance with death as crocodiles lie in wait at the riverbanks to watch a wildebeest from the herd for lunch. Lunch can be taken here or at a picnic site on the plains of the Mara. Continue an afternoon game drive before heading back to the Mara Ashnil Luxury tented Camp for rest, dinner and overnight.

Have an early morning game drive before sunrise to catch the predators as they retire from their night hunt and to take beautiful photos as the sunrises over the plains of the Mara. Return to the camp for late breakfast, mid-morning at leisure. You could take a swim or walk around the camp environs that is surrounded by indigenous trees birds and small mammals. You could also choose to have a hot air balloon safari on this day or visit a Masai village (extra activities not in the cost of the safari) Have lunch. In the late afternoon, head out for another game drive on the plains of the Mara to spot wildlife. As the sunsets, return to Mara Ashnil Luxury Tented Camp for rest, dinner and overnight.

You shall head off to the bush on an early morning game drive in the reserve before enjoying your delicious breakfast at the camp. Afterwards leave on an en-route game drive and on to Narok town where you have lunch. Return to the capital city of Kenya- Nairobi arriving in the late afternoon where you will be dropped at the place of preference.
