The Bahari Beach Hotel was established in 1995 and has been in business ever since. It sits off Mount Kenya Road in Mombasa, facing the famed Nyali Beach on Kenya’s North Coast.
Bahari Beach Hotel is a private enterprise in the hospitality and tourist industries. The hotel is situated on a six-acre ideal beach property in the new Nyali Estate residential development. It offers 100 self-contained guest rooms on the ground and first floors and is rated three stars (***). It can accommodate 200 people in 200 beds. It is led by a managing director, who is assisted by a general manager.
The hotel employs a total of over 180 people, with seven department heads overseeing the hotel’s major departments: accounts, food and beverage service, front office, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance, and security. The hotel employs 60% Mombasa residents, 20% from upcountry communities, and the remaining 20% are from other communities.
The hotel’s primary goal is to ensure that customers have a great stay so that they will return.
