Mara Leisure Camp is situated along the Talek River, at the junction of the Masai Mara’s four game viewing regions, on the northern frontier of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, in what is considered Kenya’s premier wildlife location. Mara Leisure Camp is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Because the camp is located on the game reserve’s northern boundary, all regions of the park are accessible for game watching. We have 1 luxury honeymoon tent, 8 enormous jumbo tents, 17 normal “nyati” tents, and 3 family “jamii” cottages. All social groupings are sufficiently served by them. You will get the opportunity to meet members of the Maasai culture.
The ‘Great Migration,’ in which 2 million wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores migrate through the Masai Mara/Serengeti habitat in Kenya and Tanzania, is one of the world’s most spectacular sights. This is a risky trip for the animals, since they must traverse several rivers and avoid crocodiles in the process.
