SEVERIN SAFARI CAMP

SEVERIN SAFARI CAMP

Hidden in the isolated Kitani Wildlife section of Tsavo West National Park, Severin Safari Camp has a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The eco-friendly luxury camp caters to the affluent tourist who enjoys romantic pampering and uncommon wildlife experiences by providing a distinctive combination of adventure, wellness, and relaxation. Because of the camp’s isolation and lack of fencing, animals is able to access the floodlit waterholes. Masai warriors keep watch on the camp site round-the-clock and accompany visitors to and from their tents after dark. The third-largest national park in the world, Tsavo West and East, is home to vast herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and impalas that frequently travel through the area in search of grassy spots.

There is a lot to learn about on the game drives, which cover more than 22,000 square kilometers. Visitors are encouraged to visit the Chaimu Crater, Mzima Springs, Roaring Rocks, Rhino Sanctuary, Poacher’s Lookout, Taita and Chyulu Hills, and many lava caverns such the Laviathan. The Khama Rhino Sanctuary Trust is a community-based wildlife project that was started in 1992 to help save the endangered rhino and return a once-wild area to its natural state.
