At the base of Africa’s tallest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Elerai Camp is situated in a serene, unspoiled, and distinctive location on a 5000-acre private conservation reserve 12 kilometers to the southeast of Amboseli National Park. The camp offers guests what is undoubtedly the greatest site of any camp in Amboseli, looking down on the Amboseli National Park in one direction and up to Mt. Kilimanjaro in the other. Currently, the camp features 12 Deluxe Tents with mountain views and 5 spacious Cottage Rooms. Both the Deluxe Tents and the cottage rooms have private bathrooms; however, in addition to the shower, the cottage rooms also include opulent tubs. The facilities have eco-friendly solar systems that produce hot running water.
Elerai Camp’s location on its own own conservation area gives guests the opportunity to watch animals in secluded circumstances, which is one of the camp’s main advantages. Additionally, we give our customers access to incredible bush sundowners, night game drives, and game walks on the conservancy—activities that are either prohibited or not offered by lodges inside the park.
