Porini Lion Camp is situated on the banks of the intermittent Ntiakatiak River within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy in a unique and picturesque environment. This vast territory, which borders the Maasai Mara National Reserve, is home to a plethora of species, including the Mara’s famed Big Cats. Because of the conservancy’s unspoilt natural condition, game watching is unrivaled, and the Porini Lion Camp, with only nine tents and one family unit, assures guests get a truly “away from it all” experience deep in the African bush.
Porini Lion Camp is set in the unique twenty thousand acre Olare Orok Conservancy, which borders the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is home to a variety of wildlife. The camp is modest and exclusive, with 10 roomy, nicely equipped tents, each with individual verandahs and en-suite toilets. Guests enjoy open 4×4 wildlife drives, accompanied bush walks with Maasai warriors, and sundowners. The Camp is an ideal location for seeing the yearly wildebeest migratory.
