A small, welcoming, family-friendly safari camp on the banks of the Talek River, close outside the Masai Mara National Reserve. Tipilikwani Mara Camp is an excellent value for money and an excellent location for observing the diverse animals of the Masai Mara habitat. The twenty tented rooms are erected on wooden platforms and each has an en suite bathroom and a little balcony to the front.
The dining and lounge room is the heart of the camp, thatched with dried plantain, with plenty of sofas and armchairs to relax in and converse with fellow guests. Interesting art and handcrafted furniture from Kenya and further afield contribute to the earthy appeal.
The morning and afternoon game drives, or on day trips with a picnic lunch, occupy visitors days with spectacular scenaries and wildlife creaing memories that last for a lifetime. It is also possible to organise cultural tours to a local Maasai community.
